APPROVAL OF EARLY COLLEGE PROGRAM MANUAL & ARTICULATION AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA, SARASOTA-MANATEE AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA
Description
The purpose of this agreement is to provide accelerated learning mechanisms for qualified high school students on an individual basis to attend the University of South Florida, Sarasota -Manatee(USF). The Florida Legislation has defined a variety of options intended to shorten the time necessary to complete the requirements of a high school diploma, postsecondary certificate or degree and broaden the scope curricular options available for secondary students.
Recommendation
That this Agreement between the University of South Florida, Sarasota-Manatee, and the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida, be approved as presented.
